The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) Maintenance Facility Prototype is the end result of an extensive collaboration between CEC, STUDIOARCHITECTURE, and ODOT’s management, engineers, and field workers. The prototype maintenance facility includes six separate structures: a maintenance building, an equipment storage shed, a salt barn, a mix barn, a fuel canopy, and a hopper rack. These facilities are specifically designed to address all the functional needs of ODOT’s field crews in various locations across the state, where they are stationed to maintain the roads.
