For 25 years, STUDIOARCHITECTURE has believed that great architecture begins with great relationships.

The story of STUDIO began with a friendship between Jim, George, and Jerry during their college years. After taking separate paths early in their careers, the three friends eventually found their way back to Oklahoma, where a shared passion for design and a vision for creating something of their own brought them together to establish STUDIOARCHITECTURE in 2001. 

From the beginning, they set out to build a firm where collaboration, creativity, and trust would define not only the work, but the relationships behind it. In the early days, they knew they needed an opportunity to prove themselves. Armed with little more than matching denim shirts, a shared vision, and plenty of determination, they interviewed for the Henderson Hills Baptist Church project—and won. That first commission, followed by the North Canadian River Master Plan, laid the foundation for what STUDIO would become.
Those early projects were just the beginning. As relationships grew, so did the firm's opportunities. Over the past 25 years, STUDIO has become recognized for its work in religious architecture, higher education, athletics, commercial design, civic projects, and master planning. From places of worship and university campuses to championship athletic facilities and community destinations, each project has been an opportunity to create spaces that inspire, connect, and endure.

While our portfolio has expanded, one thing has never changed: our belief that architecture is ultimately about people. Great design is more than creating beautiful buildings—it is about understanding the people who will use them, the communities they will serve, and the stories they will help tell. That people-first mindset has shaped every relationship, every collaboration, and every project throughout our history.

Today, STUDIOARCHITECTURE is proudly led by partners Joshua, Kenneth, and David, whose combined experience reflects both the firm's history and its future. Joshua has been with the firm since its early years and has helped shape its growth and evolution. Kenneth's journey has come full circle—after beginning his career at STUDIO, he returned to help lead its next chapter. David's leadership and collaborative approach have made him a natural fit alongside Joshua and Kenneth as they continue to build on the firm's strong foundation.

Together, they are honoring the legacy of those who came before them while forging a future that is distinctly their own. While embracing new ideas, evolving technologies, and fresh perspectives, they remain committed to the values that have defined STUDIO since the beginning: meaningful relationships, exceptional design, and service to our clients and communities.

As STUDIO celebrates 25 years, we do so with gratitude for the clients who have trusted us, the communities that have welcomed us, and the talented people who have helped shape our journey. The next chapter of STUDIOARCHITECTURE is already taking shape—guided by the same values that built our foundation and inspired by the opportunity to shape communities for generations to come.
