Having experienced rapid growth (and economic bursts) due to the local energy industry, Elk City commissioned STUDIOARCHITECTURE to design a citywide master plan of capital improvements aimed at diversifying the city’s economy, drawing tourists, and enhancing the quality of life for its citizens. This plan includes a list of municipal projects compiled by city officials and community stakeholders, including an indoor sports facility, and aquatics center, a convention center, an expo facility, and redevelopment of city-owned historic structures.
