Third Degree Advertising : New Office Space
Third Degree's Space
Through architecture and space, Studio Architecture applied a design style to match Third Degree Advertising's approach to business. In the back of the space, the wood and metal accent space dividers are rough and less finished. Toward the front, the space becomes more polished and refined. This is to simulate the agency's approach of taking various goals, objectives and components of a client's business and creating a finalized well-packaged communications campaign.
Honest Space
Playing on the features of the 1918 warehouse in which it is located, the office space is "honest" - exposing the air ducts and piping handing on the ceilings above. Florescent lighting is masked through a stainless steal mesh material.
A Subtle Turn
To accommodate current technology and electrical needs, a raised wood floor made out of maple plywood allows for access to cables and wiring beneath the panels. By turning each panel a quarter turn in different directions, an interesting yet subtle design effect is created.
